Unification of Champ Car and IRL finally came about in 2008, long anticipated and long agonized. This picture features two of the biggest racing sites, Indy and Long Beach, showing how two different cars were used to consummate this merger at the very last moment, bringing in some new sponsors but leaving behind some old friends.
